how would i get my shaman to cast Earthshock followed by lightning shield in 1 macro so that every time i use my shock it applys my lighting shield as it has no mana cost and is all ways waring off before i notice

Don’t need the /stopcasting
and as for robbie you can do a spam macro to avoid the gcd it would go like

/castsequence Earth Shock, Lightning Shield
you would have to hit it twice though. and the #showtooltip will tell you which spell is up right now just remember the global cooldown is unavoidable.
